Registration Information

Most programs are free and don’t require advanced registration. Some computer and technology classes may have a non-refundable attendance fee that must be paid at the time of registration. Registration for these classes is taken at the computer lab desks.

If a program does require registration, it will be denoted like this: *Program requires advanced registration.

95th Street Library Renovation

95th Street Library's eight-month, $2.7 million renovation project is complete and has added new furniture, floors and lights, and improved seating areas. Downstairs improvements include new reading nooks, an "Early Literacy" area, and a makerspace for children to create, invent and learn.

All ages with accompanying adult

FAMILY - Stories, songs and more fun activities for children of all ages. Strategies to enhance early learning opportunities at home.

Infants to 23 months with accompanying adult

LAPSIT - Stories, songs and fingerplays. Time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with their little one.

2 to 3 year olds with accompanying adult

TALES FOR 2s & 3s - Stories, songs and fingerplays. Strategies to enhance early learning opportunities at home.

3 and 4 year olds with accompanying adult

MAKE IT! TAKE IT! - Fun program of stories and crafts. (5-year-olds are welcome to attend.)

3, 4 and 5 year olds

PRESCHOOL - This 30-minute independent storytime experience is for 3- to 5-year-olds only.

Special Needs - 3 years old and older with accompanying adult

SENSORY STORYTIME - The whole family is invited to a 30-minute program of books, songs and fun for children with special needs. All abilities are welcome with an adult caregiver. Inquire at any children's services desk for more information. The program will take place on the first Saturday of each month.


Calling all school age kids! Check out the makerspace areas at Nichols Library and Naper Blvd. Library to create, build, experiment and imagine.
